SAlsa DAncing Scene- Choreography by Angel Garcia

This update is of a dancing scene from “Salsa Lessons,”  the choreography for the film was done by Angel Clemente Garcia. He worked for a month with the actors to make sure they look credible as dancers. Angel is a well known Tango and salsa dancer from NYC.   Feel free to check out his site:  http://angeltango.com/angel.html

As far as the scene it was shot in  silhouette.  If you see the film you will find  that in the salsa dancing scenes we started with a  night shoot and the scenes after that got brighter and brighter. The italian director Federico Fellini once said that films are light. I agree,  as a director the use light and darkness in a film is very important.   You can’t just leave that to chance.
