Andy Conga- Score for film
Andy Conga a local musician from New York City did the score for “Salsa Lessons”. I met him through the lead actor in the film Alfonso Madrid. In the film we have a number of intermissions with footage of musicians that shaped the music known today as Salsa, Andy’s score in the film consist mostly of him playing
the conga. He was able to go to the studio and record the music while looking at scenes from the film. I have to say that he did a great job! He also appears in the opening credits of the film playing the conga.
